passion and tradition

The Volterrani family has always been in contact with wine. And it is through study, experience and practice in his father’s cellar that David Volterrani, founder of Cerester, has acquired and gradually deepened his expertise in the field of enology.

Before founding Cerester David travelled extensively, participating in two different vintages in Australia and New Zealand. Initially the business was focused mainly on the commercialization of bulk wine, but in recent years Cerester has gradually started a path aimed at the modernization of the whole production structure, converting production to bottled wine.

THE CHALLENGE OF THE FUTURE

Over the years David has never stopped travelling the world, sharing and passing on his experience to his sons, today at the head of the company, and assuring Cerester that continuity in goals and mission, always guaranteeing respect for tradition but with a constant eye on the challenges of the future.
Cerester wines are a journey through the Italian territory: an itinerary of variety and tradition. Wine becomes the narrator and protagonist of our land and culture. Its scents evoke the peculiarities of the various terroirs, and this is how Cerester wines become a sort of sensory journey of discovery through Italy.
